Custom Engraving

Every detail matters when creating something special. Before you upload your image, take a moment to read these guidelines—They have been designed to help you achieve the most beautiful, precise engraving possible.

Text & Fonts

We offer a specially selected list of fonts to suit a variety of styles—from classic and elegant to modern and playful. You can preview these fonts during the customization process.

If Your Preferred Font Isn’t Listed

If you have a specific font in mind that isn’t in our selection, simply provide the exact font name as it appears on Google Fonts.

  • How to do it:
    1.
Visit Google Fonts and search for your desired font.
    2. Copy the exact font name (for example, “Roboto”, “Dancing Script”, or “Montserrat”).
    3. Enter this name in the “Custom Font” field during your order.

We’ll do our best to use your chosen font for your engraving. If there are any issues or the font isn’t suitable for engraving, our team will contact you to discuss alternatives.

Placement

Choosing the right placement for your engraving is the secret to achieving a balanced, elegant look on your kitchenware. Here’s how to think about placement, with a visual guide to help you decide.

1. Standard Placement Areas

  • Top Left / Top Center / Top Right:
Great for initials, monograms, or small icons—subtle and classic.
  • Center Left / Center / Center Right:
Ideal for main messages, quotes, or larger designs. Center placement is bold and eye-catching.
  • Bottom Left / Bottom Center / Bottom Right:
Perfect for dates, signatures, or secondary details—personal and discreet.

2. Handle Placement

  • For boards with handles, engraving on or near the handle is ideal for names or small logos, adding a unique touch while keeping the main surface clear.

3. Size and Alignment

  • Large, Medium, Small:
Choose the size that fits your message and the available space.
  • Alignment:
Left, center, or right alignment can be selected based on your preference and the item’s shape.

4. Text Style Options

You can personalize your engraving further by selecting from these text styles:

  • Rounded Text:
Text that curves along the edge or shape of the board, perfect for round or oval surfaces. This style adds a friendly, inviting feel to your design.
  • Bold:
Use bold text to make names, titles, or important words stand out. This is ideal for main messages or headings.
  • Italic:
Italic text adds a touch of elegance and is great for quotes, special dates, or signatures.
  • Bold & Italic Combined:
For maximum emphasis and style, combine bold and italic for important messages or names.

File Upload

Every detail matters when creating something special. Before you upload your image, take a moment to read these guidelines—They have been designed to help you achieve the most beautiful, precise engraving possible.

1. Black-and-White (Monochrome) Images

  • Best for engraving.
  • No gray, no color—just pure black lines/shapes on a white background.
  • Examples: coloring book art, simple logos, icons, clear handwriting.

2. Line Art, Sketches, and Doodles

  • Clear, bold outlines with no shading or color fills.
  • Simple pencil or pen sketches, cartoon drawings, and doodles are ideal if the lines are strong and easy to see.
  • If you can trace the main shapes with your finger, it’s suitable.

3. Bold Logos and Symbols

  • Company logos, emblems, or symbols with thick lines and high contrast.
  • No extra decorations, shadows, or color gradients.

4. Colored Images with Strong, Distinct Lines

  • If your drawing is in color but has obvious, dark outlines and simple shapes, it can be converted for engraving.
  • The engraving machine will turn dark colors into black (engraved) and light colors into white (not engraved).

5. High-Resolution, Sharp Files

  • The image must be clear, not blurry or pixelated.
  • Recommended file formats: PNG, JPG, SVG.
